At St Lawrence’s Primary School our Christian beliefs and values are reflected across the school. From collective worship and lessons, to the way we interact with others on a daily basis, we always aspire to act in a way that demonstrates God’s love and concern for each individual.
We understand that school life can be extremely busy and that it is important for children to have time and space to reflect on their own beliefs and values. There are also times when we need to approach someone who is infinitely wiser and bigger than we are, and our reflective areas are an area where children can do this if they choose to.
Every class has a reflection area which is changed half termly and is evaluated and inspected by our RE ambassadors. We also have a range of reflection areas across the school: in the corridor, at reception and, of course, in our Prayer Pod and spiritual garden! Below are some photographs of these areas in different parts of the school.
